A serene preparation scene on a stone countertop where a small glass teapot is being filled with an herbal infusion, though no hands are visible. Floating in the clear water are vibrant fresh leaves of lemon balm and mint, along with delicate calendula petals, each leaf vein and petal edge rendered in photographic detail. Around the teapot, small ceramic dishes contain measured portions of dried roots and berries, and a linen towel in muted moss green is carefully folded nearby. Soft, overcast daylight from a window above creates even, diffused lighting with gentle reflections in the glass. Shot from a slightly elevated angle with a shallow depth of field, the mood is calm, intentional, and nurturing, emphasizing the ritual of herbal healing rooted in earth and guided by nature.

Our Story

Discover how Ana Gaia’s grounded training and cautious herbal practice support safe, soulful healing:

My herbal journey began in 2005 through an apprenticeship in the Wise Woman Tradition. This lineage deeply shaped my approach to herbalism, emphasizing nourishment, respect for the body’s innate wisdom, and a close relationship with the natural world.

Over the years, I went on to complete extensive training in herbalism, including Certified Herbalist and Master Herbalist programs. My certifications & licenses have also included Naturopathy, Holistic Nutrition, Massage Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Advanced Cupping Therapies, Yoga Teacher, & Sacred Ceremony Facilitator. All of these allow me to approach wellness from a broad, whole-person perspective.

At Ana Gaia Herbals, I am honored to share the knowledge, traditions, and plant allies that have guided me. One phrase from my training that continues to resonate deeply is tolle totum, meaning “treat the whole person.” This guiding principle reflects how I see every client—as a unique, whole being whose physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are all worthy of care. I love helping others discover a path toward greater balance, resilience, and well-being.

A note from Ana Gaia..

I’m Ana, the herbalist behind Ana Gaia Herbals. For over two decades, I’ve been walking the path of plant medicine, learning from traditional herbal wisdom and the abundant gifts of nature.

I believe that true wellness grows from connection—to our bodies, our communities, and the earth itself. My work is rooted in helping people rediscover that connection through herbs, education, and holistic support.

Whether you’re seeking guidance for everyday wellness, looking to deepen your understanding of herbal remedies, or hoping to bring more natural approaches into your family’s life, I’m honored to walk alongside you on that journey.

At Ana Gaia Herbals, my mission is simple: to share the wisdom of plants, nurture resilience, and support wellness in a way that is gentle, empowering, and deeply rooted in nature.

A close-up, eye-level view of a handcrafted herbal tincture bottle made of dark amber glass, resting on a smooth slate tray. Behind it, slightly out of focus, are neatly arranged bundles of sage, rosemary, and thyme tied with natural twine, along with a ceramic bowl containing freshly sliced ginger root. Soft, diffused daylight filters in from the left, highlighting condensation on the bottle and creating a subtle glow along its edges. The mood is serene, precise, and professional, with a photographic realism style. The composition follows the rule of thirds, with the bottle slightly off-center and a gentle bokeh effect in the background, suggesting a dedicated herbal apothecary space curated with care and respect for nature.
A peaceful woodland-inspired still life designed to represent EarthSong Herbals’ connection to nature. In the center, a smooth, circular cross-section of a tree trunk serves as a natural pedestal holding three small, unlabeled glass vials filled with different herbal oils in shades of pale green, amber, and rich gold. Surrounding the wood slice are carefully placed fern fronds, moss, and small pieces of lichen-covered bark. A single white ceramic bowl contains a modest pile of dried rosehips and elderberries. The scene is set on a dark, matte background to enhance contrast. Soft, dappled light mimics sunlight filtered through forest leaves, creating gentle, organic patterns of light and shadow. Captured at a low, slightly angled perspective with a balanced composition, the mood is deeply grounded, reverent, and professionally curated.

An inviting wooden shelf system inside a minimalist herbal apothecary, captured with photographic realism. Rows of uniformly labeled glass jars display dried roots, leaves, and flowers in rich greens, golds, and deep browns, each texture crisply defined. A few ceramic bowls of loose herbs sit on the lower shelf beside neatly stacked recycled-paper notebooks and a small stoneware dish filled with botanical samples. Soft golden-hour light streams in from a nearby window, casting warm, elongated shadows along the grain of the wood. The camera is positioned at eye level with sharp focus throughout, emphasizing order, cleanliness, and professionalism. The overall mood is grounded and reassuring, conveying a sense of trust and expertise in herbal healing traditions guided by nature.

“I felt truly partnered in my care. Ana adjusted my herbs slowly, explained interactions, and my energy and mood lifted without side effects.”
